I know that Level 2 is best for bad drives, but with so many units asking for DBU it is hard to just watch it the whole time to notice the signs. Maybe have it just log that the however long allowed time to try skipped this file. Especially if we don't know beforehand that a drive is failing when we start. It really sucks to leave a big DBU running, just to come back to everything being crashed out from it just going in on a bad spot for too long. I do really really wish that the MRI team would add an option for how long to try to get a file that isn't wanting to come over before just skipping said file. That and the part where it shows the normal hidden folders that literally will not come over if just doing the regular copy/paste (unless you remember to set Explorer to show those files/folders of course). ![]() ![]() As soon as they try to navigate into a user account on a client's drive and see how long the taking ownership can take, it is clearer as to why it is worth using. Everyone is very quick to ask "why bother opening a whole program just to copy and paste?". Removing permissions is definitely the first thing that I bring up when showing people how to do data.
